About this study
The purpose of this study is to track and analyze information about outcomes of subjects who have undergone maternal-fetal consultation, care, and potentially in utero treatment for complicated monochorionic twin pregnancy. Specific projects will be submitted to Naftnet for approval by Naftnet then completed utilizing the database.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
The study population will consist of MC pregnancies (maternal, fetal, and neonatal data) that have undergone evaluation and/or treatment for complications attributable to monochorionic twin pregnancy at all participating NAFTNet centers after 1/1/2005. Each center may participate from 1/1/2005. Included diagnoses that qualify as complicated MC pregnancy include, but are not limited to TTTS, TRAP, TAPS, selective IUGR, monoamniotic pregnancy, discordant anomalies, and conjoined twin pregnancy. The diagnosis at the time of referral to NAFTnet center will be used as the qualifying diagnosis, even if this is not the ultimate final diagnosis at delivery (final diagnosis). The final diagnosis may include normal MC pregnancy.
