A Study Of Of The DeviSkan Device For Automated Total Body Photography And Dermoscopic Imaging In Dermatology

About this study

The aim of this pilot study is to evaluate the baseline performance of the DeviSkan device in a dermatology clinical setting, focusing on image quality, anatomical completeness, and overall clinical utility. The study will examine the system’s effectiveness in capturing and documenting both biopsied and clinically relevant lesions Additional primary objectives include assessing usability from the perspective of imaging technicians, characterizing patient experience, and evaluating the quality and completeness of images as reviewed by dermatologists.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • 18 years of age or older at time of consent.

  • Patient is scheduled for a dermatology skin check at MCR or MCF. Have the ability to provide informed consent.

  • Have the ability to complete all aspects of this trial.

  • Have no contraindicating comorbid health conditions which would interfere with the use of the DeviSkan system, as determined by the clinical investigators.

 

Exclusion Criteria:

  • An unstable medical or mental health condition as determined by the physician investigator.

  • Patient is unable to stand unassisted for at least 20 minutes.

  • Inability to provide informed consent.

  • Subject currently pregnant by self-report at the time of consent.
