About this study
The purpose of this study is to validate multiple, noninvasive, wearable physiological monitors during protocols of tolerance to lower-body negative pressure that simulate hemorrhagic shock, a condition often seen secondary to civilian and battlefield trauma. This data will more generally characterize noninvasive assessment of proof of life and tiered vitality that can quickly assess an individual’s health status.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
18-55 years of age
Non-obese (BMI<30)
Non-smokers
Free of any systemic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, coronary artery disease, neurologic disease, or any other major medical co-morbidity
Women will be either surgically sterilized or non-pregnant
