About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine whether NIO-imaging can assess tissue adequacy in real time during surveillance bronchoscopies.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adult patients (≥18 years old)

  • History of prior lung transplant undergoing routine surveillance bronchoscopy between 01/01/2026 – 12/31/2026

  • Patients able to consent

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients who do not meet the inclusion criteria

  • Patients who present inability to undergo bronchoscopy or clinical instability precluding biopsy

  • Patients who are unable to consent
