A Study Of Lower Extremity Biomechanics, Strength And Body Composition In Relation To Lower Body Injuries In Division III Athletes

About this study

The purpose of this study is to collect athlete demographics, lower body biomechanics, and body composition with the goal of describing lower extremity injury profiles and rates to show potential risk factors for lower extremity injuries.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Those enrolled at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire over the age of 18 and active on a UWEC athletic roster

 

Exclusion Criteria:   

  • Recent injury that would limit their participation in full athletic activity; those under the age of 18
