A Study Of Community Based Education On Cervical Cancer Among Populations Experiencing Health Disparities

About this study

The purpose of this study is to translate existing educational materials for a community-based education intervention to improve knowledge on cervical cancer among African and Hispanic women belonging to immigrant communities in local Rochester communities

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Assigned female at birth

  • 18 years old

  • Self-identify as African and Hispanic

  • Self-identify as belonging to the immigrant community.

 

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Not assigned female at birth

  • Less than 18 years of age

  • Does not self-identify as African and Hispanic

  • Does not self-identify as belonging to the immigrant community.
