A Study Of An ECG-AI Software As A Medical Device To Detect ASCVD Risk

About this study

The purpose of this study is to validate an ECG-AI algorithm designed to identify ASCVD risk. The performance will be assessed within prespecified patient subgroups.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Participant one of the following cohort studies or health system electronic health records:

    • Framingham Heart Study (FHS)

    • Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA)

    • Cardiovascular Health Study (CHS)

    • Cardiometabolic Risk Reduction in South Asia (CARRS) ○ Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC)

    • Jackson Heart Study (JHS)

    • Coronary Artery Risk Development in Young Adults (CARDIA)

    • Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) ○ Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latinos (HCHS-SOL)

    • Continuous patient of a participating health system over study period

  • Have a digital 12-lead ECG available as part of exam data for at least one exam during participation in cohort study

Exclusion Criteria:

  • No commercial use research authorization provided

  • Known ASCVD at time of ECG analysis

  • Less than 12 months of follow-up
