A Study Of Of Immersive Technology To Reduce Anxiety During Pediatric Polysomnography (PSG)

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility and tolerability of the use of IT during polysomnography (PSG) set up and evaluate the impact of IT on the emotional response during PSG set up.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Consecutive patients presenting for PSG ages 5 to 10 years.  

  • Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 10 years and scheduled for a PSG.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Developmental delay

  • History of seizures

  • History of severe anxiety
