A Study Of Hardware Removal And Barometric Symptoms

About this study

The purpose of this study is to to analyze for differences in barometric symptoms in patients with prior fracture fixation who have had hardware removal (HR) and those who have not undergone HR.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age 18 or older with operatively managed fractures

 

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients who are under 18 years old at time of fracture surgery, who do not have any hardware as a result of their surgery, or who were nonoperatively managed.
