A Study Of QOL With Secondary Hypogammaglobulinemia

About this study

The purpose of this study is the prospective evaluation of quality of life in patients with secondary hypogammaglobulinemia. Demonstrate reduced morbidity in patients with secondary hypogammaglobulinemia receiving immunoglobulin replacement, as evidenced by reduction in infections and treatment with antibiotics

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adult (>18 years of age)

  • Hypogammaglobulinemia identified on 2 separate lab draws prior to study enrollment.

  • History of immunosuppressive treatment.

  • Computer or smart phone access to complete REDCap surveys.

  • Able to provide informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • <18 years of age or >80 years of age.

  • Current cancer not in remission (except for skin cancer)

  • Pregnant or lactation.

  • Severe mental health disorder.

  • Inability to complete study procedures or questionnaires due to cognitive or language barriers or no access to a computer or smart phone.
