A Study Of Computational Pathology-Based Pancreatic Cancer Risk Model

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to prospectively validate a computational pathology-based risk model using spatial metrics derived from resected PDAC specimens post-TNT.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age ≥ 18 years

  • Histologically or cytologically confirmed pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC)

  • Deemed potentially resectable by the multidisciplinary pancreas cancer team

  • Undergoing planned total neoadjuvant therapy followed by curative-intent surgical resection

  • Provision of written informed consent

  • Willingness to allow use of resected tumor tissue for digital analysis

  • Availability of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tumor blocks post-resection

Exclusion Criteria

  • Receipt of only upfront surgical resection without neoadjuvant therapy

  • Treatment plans that involve adjuvant chemotherapy

  • Diagnosis of a pancreatic neoplasm other than PDAC (e.g., neuroendocrine tumor, acinar cell carcinoma, mucinous cystic neoplasm)

  • Evidence of metastatic or unresectable disease prior to surgery

  • Inadequate tissue availability for digital imaging and computational analysis

  • Lack of consent for use of medical records or tissue for research

Note: Other protocol defined Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria may apply.
