A Study Of Preclinical Evaluation Of Robotic-Assisted Neuroendovascular Access

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to characterize the performance of manual MMA access in humans per standard of care.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adult patients aged 18-90.

  • Baseline head CT demonstrates cSDH.

  • Consecutive patients who are scheduled to undergo middle meningeal artery embolization based on the senior neurosurgeon’s clinical judgment and decision to proceed with intervention.

  • CTA scan resolution or artifact (commonly from dental procedures), must meet segmentation thresholds needed for accurate segmentation of the proximal MMA.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients younger than 18 years or older than 90 years.

  • Baseline head CT does not demonstrate chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH).

  • Patients who are undergoing an alternative procedure to middle meningeal artery embolization for their cSDH, or for whom the senior neurosurgeon does not recommend intervention.

  • CTA scan resolution or artifact is inadequate to meet segmentation thresholds for accurate segmentation of the proximal MMA.

Note: Other protocol defined Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria may apply.

Eligibility last updated 01/02/2026. Questions regarding updates should be directed to the study team contact.
