A Study To Evaluate Screening Biomarkers For Lung Cancer

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate new and complementary analytical MS technologies to identify and define the metabolic biomarkers for lung cancer.

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients 18 or older years old.
  • Patients with planned surgery for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) confirmed cancer.
  • Able to sign consent.
  • Able to complete with specimen collection directions.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients with metastatic disease from another primary.

 

Inclusion Criteria: Control group

-Patients 18 or older years old

-Patients with having planned surgery for other benign conditions

-Able to sign consent and complete with specimen collection directions

 

Exclusion Criteria:

-Patients with any prior malignancy in the last 5 years except for basal or squamous cell skin
