A Study to See if the Depth of Tumor Invasion of Esophageal Carcinoma Predicts Lymph Node Involvement and Cancer Free Survival


About this study

The purpose of this study is to see if different depths of submucosal tumor invasion in esophageal cancer can predict lymph node involvement and survival.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. Inclusion Criteria

  • Underwent an esophagectomy or endoscopic mucosal resection for esophageal cancer
