About this study
The purpose of this study is to determine if there are any changes in handwriting of patients with cervical spondylotic myelopathy, and assess the value of handwriting changes as an early predictor in the disease.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Confirmed cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) diagnosis
- CSM patients undergoing surgical treatment
- Patients above the age of 21
Exclusion Criteria:
- Patients under the age of 21
- Patients with upper extremity deformities
- Patients with any neurological impairments or diseases that could confound variables
