About this study
The purpose of this study is the evaluation of new tools and strategies for the clinical assessment, management, and rehabilitation of concussions.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria
- Age 8 years or older
- History of known or suspected concussion
- Referred to the Mayo Clinic Sports Neurology and Concussion Program
Exclusion Criteria
- Non-English speaking
- Major brain-based neurological disorder other than concussion or migraine (e.g., epilepsy, large-vessel stroke)
- Individuals with a history of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disability, or psychiatric disorder (e.g., depression, anxiety) will be allowed to participate, but may be analyzed separately.
