A Study to Gather Information About the Usability of Self-help Instructional Videos for Childhood Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

About this study

The purpose of this study is to gather information from patients and parents with regard to the usability of a web based module for psychoeducation (education on how to deal with a mental health condition) and adequacy of content coverage.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Children who have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder or obsessive compulsive disorder.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Children and/or their parents who have
    • Cognitive impairment 
    • Comorbid conditions
    • Elevated risk of harm to self- or others 
    • Psychosocial circumstances that would make cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety inappropriate.
