A Study to Extend a Previous Trial of Eculizumab in Patients with Relapsing Neuromyelitis Optica

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine whether eculizumab long-term use is safe and effective in patients with relapsing neuromyelitis optica.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patient completed the ECU-NMO-301 trial
  • Patient has given written informed consent

 

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients who have withdrawn from the ECU-NMO-301 trial as a result of an adverse event related to the trial drug
  • Female patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to conceive during the course of the trial
