Mayo Clinic staff and Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science students can access a rich collection of traditional and digital resources networked throughout all Mayo locations.
The Mayo Clinic Libraries system contains an extensive collection of journals and books exceeding 400,000 volumes. The collection includes approximately 4,800 journals, with a subset of approximately 4,300 full-text electronic journals and more than 1,800 electronic textbooks and databases. Desktop access to the Mayo Digital Library is available on a 24/7 basis at over 50,000 institutional workstations at all Mayo sites.
The breadth and depth of these resources and their integration using common online management systems and a knowledge portal make the Mayo Clinic Libraries among the most comprehensive in North America, covering the entirety of clinical medicine, nursing, biomedical research, medical humanities and related fields.
Mayo staff and students may access the Mayo Clinic Libraries catalog, the WorldCat interlibrary loan catalog and other resources on the Mayo Clinic intranet or via remote login.
