Rochester, Minnesota, has a reliable, affordable bus system with regular stops at Mayo Clinic's downtown buildings and Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Marys Campus. Because bus service is not available during many nighttime hours, students and trainees with work-related duties at night may need a car to commute.
Mayo operates an intercampus shuttle system that provides transportation for staff, trainees and students between Mayo Clinic's downtown buildings, Saint Marys Campus and Mayo parking lots near downtown.
While many students live within walking distance of the campus, many students and trainees prefer the convenience of having their own vehicle. Carpooling opportunities with other students may be available.
During orientation, you'll receive more details about where to park, how to access the Park & Ride shuttle lots, and on-campus parking lots and ramps.
Visit Rochester Public Transit for more information about Rochester's city bus system and Park & Ride locations.
