    The goal of this research is to demonstrate that the NeuroPace Responsive Neurostimulator can safely deliver responsive electrical stimulation to reduce seizures.

    The goal of this research is to demonstrate that a continuous metric of intracranial EEG activity can be used to provide seizure likelihood information to patients, so that they adjust their activities accordingly.
  3. High Spatiotemporal Resolution EEG
    Funding Source: NIH
    1. High & low frequency field potential signatures of epileptogenic brain are quantitated and analyzed for their ability to spatially localize seizure onset zones in partial epilepsy
    2. The same signatures of epileptogenic brain are quantitated and analyzed for to their ability to temporally localize seizure onset times
    3. Extracellular action potential (unit) firing rates are quantitated relative to human clinical seizure onsets
  4. Large-scale Electrophysiology Database and Informatics
    In collaboration with Brian Litt at University of Pennsylvania we are creating a database of intracranial EEG that will be made available to the international community of researchers working in the field of seizure prediction.
