Dr. John Port is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and board-certified neuroradiologist at Mayo Clinic Rochester. He is an active researcher primarily interested in developing new state-of-the-art imaging techniques for use in patients with psychiatric illnesses. Currently he is focusing on OCD and bipolar disease. Areas of active imaging research include proton and phosphorus magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) as well as diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). Dr. Port has over 20 peer-reviewed publications and four book chapters.
