Summary
Dr. Ting's research interests includes the following outcomes research:
- Illuminating the current gaps in quality and safety of care
- Quality improvement research to close the gaps between ideal recommended care versus usual routine care
- Health care delivery research to understand how to implement, evaluate and disseminate interventions to improve quality
- Patient-centered shared decision-making to empower patient choices and preferences
Dr. Ting is a principal investigator in the Knowledge and Evaluation Research Unit; and the lead investigator for the I.Q. Core (Improving Quality), which studies implementation and evaluation of practice improvement interventions.
