Summary

• Teaching methods for Evidence based medicine, both in small and larger group setting. Using techniques of EBM to quantify learning trends of students and establish meaningful long term outcome, ie., using principles of Adult self directed education (androgenic approach), comfort with literature retrieval, critical appraisal skills, ability to apply external evidence appropriately to patient at hand.
• Identify techniques to quantify and communicate risks to patients.
• Management strategies of complex patient. Study of communication and negotiating styles of physicians, tacit reasoning, and using uncertainty principles, breaking bad news.
• Bedside teaching strategies using one on one model with mentor -apprenticeship model.
• Research on single symptoms complex, i.e., fatigue, weight loss
