SUMMARY

As Fellowship Program Director, I help direct the research investigation in benign pelvic surgery with an emphasis on reconstructive pelvic surgery.

Our research interests include:

  • Molecular biology (hormone receptors, healing response)
  • Biomechanics (tissue and material properties)
  • Surgical outcomes (device trials, procedure comparisons, clinical outcomes, quality improvement studies)
  • Epidemiology (long-term clinical outcomes, risk factors)
