Summary
Dr. Bower is currently the Chair of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He has a variety of clinical research interests and areas of expertise, which include the following:
- Complex open aortic reconstructions
- Thoracoabdominal, paravisceral, pararenal and infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms
- Mesenteric and renal artery disease
- Treatment of unusual arteriopathies, such as Takayasu's arteritis
- Treatment of infected aortic grafts
- Inferior vena cava replacement for malignant or benign conditions
- Segmental arterial mediolysis
