About this study
The purpose of this study is to create a secure, curated database of standardized voice recordings linked with clinical diagnoses, comorbidities, and test results (PFT, ECG, echocardiogram) from the EHR for use in future research on disease detection, classification, and monitoring.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
Age 18 years or older.
Able to speak and read English.
Willing and able to provide informed consent.
Able to produce audible voice recordings, which is permissible even with mild or moderate dysarthria or dyspnea.
Are adult patients or volunteers.
Exclusion Criteria:
Inability to provide informed consent (e.g., severe cognitive impairment without a legally authorized representative).
Severe communication barriers precluding participation (e.g., tracheostomy without phonation, aphasia preventing paragraph reading).
Patients whose primary treating clinician advises against participation due to clinical instability or other concerns.
