Developing a Stress Management Intervention to Reduce Stress Among Immigrant Women

About this study

The purpose of this study is to conduct focus groups to seek additional feedback from immigrant women in three different language groups (Somali, Spanish, and English).to develop a stress management intervention.  

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria: 

  • Women 18 years of age or older.
  • Somali-speaking, Spanish-speaking, or English speaking from other minoritized groups.
  • Provide verbal consent.
  • Willing and able to share their personal experiences about stress.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • < 18 years of age.
  • Not belong to a minoritized group,
  • Do not provide verbal consent,.
  • Are not willing and able to share their personal experiences about stress.
