Pro-Active Identification of Risk factors for Complex Behavioral Patients

About this study

Our study objective is to examine the implementation and effectiveness of an integrated behavioral safety delivery platform (ProActive) in clinical practice.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Admitted to Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Hospital and Methodist Hospital in one of the study units during the period of November 1, 2024, to February 1, 2026.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • We will exclude from data analysis and publication all patients who do not provide research authorization to review their medical records for general research studies in accordance with Minnesota Statute 144.335.
  • We will exclude patients under the age of 18 years of age.
  • We will exclude patients who no longer have an active encounter (i.e., patients who have discharged, died, or transferred to another facility are excluded)
  • We will exclude patients who are moved to the Complex Intervention Unit or Behavioral Floors (Generose)
