About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology in improving the recovery time of urinary control and quality of life for male patients after radical prostatectomy (RP) and Holmium laser prostate surgery (HoLEP).

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects who are male
  • Eighteen years of age
  • Post-radical prostatectomy or post HoLEP surgeries
  • Experiencing urinary incontinence
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Have the capacity to make their own medical decisions
  • Able to complete the questionnaires provided

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects who are not male
  • Younger than eighteen years of age
  • Not post-radical prostatectomy or post HoLEP surgeries
  • Not experiencing urinary incontinence
  • Unable to read and write in English
  • Do not have the capacity to make their own medical decisions
  • Unable to complete the questionnaires provided
