Credentials and Qualities for the Selection of Program Coordinators

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine which credentials and qualities can be priortized during the selection process of program coordinators with no prior graduate medical education experience through the application of a human resources framework.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Participants and Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:

  • The participant sample will include stakeholders of the program coordinator selection process: HR recruiter, HR liaison, program coordinator managers, program coordinators, and program directors. At Mayo Clinic, there are one HR recruiter, 3 HR liaisons, and 10 program coordinator managers. Since these groups are represented by a few numbers of individuals, they will all be invited to participate.
