About this study
The purpose of this study is to examine differences by sex and gender in symptoms and associated outcomes of fibromyalgia.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Adult men and women, age 18 or older.
- Previously seen at the Mayo Clinic Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Clinic (Rochester, MN) and diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
- Able to read and speak English.
- Must be willing and able to provide consent and participate in both portions of the study.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Minors (under the age of 18).
- Patients not diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
- Patients who cannot provide consent or unwilling to participate in both portions of the study.
