About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the rate of compliance for having an emergency epinephrine autoinjector readily accessible in adults with allergies, and to determine factors that negatively influence adults with allergies for having an emergency epinephrine autoinjector readily accessible.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. If you need assistance understanding the eligibility criteria, please contact the study team.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adults who are participating in the Mayo Clinic Biobank that have identified themselves as having an allergy as queried on question #20 on the Biobank questionnaire.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Patient refusal to participate in research studies at Mayo Clinic.
