About this study

The purpose of this study is to to learn more about the vasodilatory effect due to the action of IKK beta inhibitors on the arterial and venous rings from humans.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. If you need assistance understanding the eligibility criteria, please contact the study team.

Inclusion Criteria:   

  • Any patient undergoing coronary bypass surgery that has either IMA or SV and aortic punch waste tissue left over at the end of the surgery        

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients who refuse participation or we are unable to obtain verbal consent along with a signed HIPAA form.  (these tissues will be destroyed)
