The Mayo Clinic Van Cleve Cardiac Regenerative Medicine Program is working to create awareness about the field of regenerative medicine, generating interest in the community by providing education to future generations of patients, caregivers, scientists and engineers.
Regenerative Medicine Minnesota (RMM)
In a pilot program funded by Regenerative Medicine Minnesota, researchers from the Mayo Clinic Van Cleve Cardiac Regenerative Medicine Program are introducing third- through eighth-grade students to the field of regenerative medicine in southeastern Minnesota by providing basic, fact-based information about stem cells and regenerative medicine.
Through this collaborative effort, the research team aims to increase awareness about the field of regenerative medicine and to engage and inspire the next-generation workforce of scientists and engineers in Minnesota.
