Focus Areas

The Pediatric Research Center focuses on four areas that offer unique opportunities for truly transformative, high-impact research.

These areas, which encompass a group of currently incurable childhood disorders, bring together scientists and physicians across Mayo Clinic to obtain new fundamental knowledge and translate that knowledge into innovative clinical tools to provide early diagnosis, early interventions, new treatments and preventive health care delivery for these devastating conditions.
