The mission of the CT Clinical Innovation Center at Mayo Clinic is to facilitate high-impact imaging innovations that will translate directly into patient care.
The CT Clinical Innovation Center develops and evaluates new computerized tomography (CT) technology, clinical applications and dose-reduction techniques.
The core team of researchers and clinical investigators in the CT Clinical Innovation Center has particular expertise in the use of computerized tomography for quantitative assessment of disease progression or regression, organ function, and material compositions, as well as methods to quantify and reduce radiation dose.
The CT Clinical Innovation Center also provides Mayo Clinic investigators with access to cutting-edge CT technology, CT physics support and consultation, and advanced image processing capabilities.
