Noah Gray, Ph.D.

Noah Gray, Ph.D., completed his undergraduate degree in biology and art history at the University of Notre Dame. After joining the laboratory of Mark A. McNiven, Ph.D., at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Gray completed his Ph.D. in molecular neuroscience.

His postdoctoral training was split between Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and the Howard Hughes Janelia Farm Research Campus, working with Karel Svoboda, Ph.D.

Although on track to pursue an academic position, Dr. Gray decided to take what he originally felt might be a short break from laboratory research and accepted a position as an assistant editor at the journal Nature Neuroscience. Eighteen months later, Dr. Gray decided to remain in publishing and joined Nature, where he now serves as a senior editor.
