Why I chose Mayo Clinic for residency training: I chose Mayo Clinic for residency training because of the emphasis placed on developing the knowledge and expertise of the resident. Mentorship is provided by leaders in the profession and preceptors are actively engaged in the residents’ education. In addition, the wide variety of rotations offered as well as ample opportunities to improve research, presentation, and critical thinking skills make Mayo Clinic’s program an exceptional place to learn and train.
