Research project

My current research interests include pharmacogenomics and the study and development of novel therapeutics to hinder the molecular mechanisms that drive chronic disease. I am drawn to the translational side of pharmacology, bringing discoveries from bench to bedside.

The Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Ph.D. track's close association with clinicians, access to patient samples and one of the best-kept medical record databases in the country enable me to pursue this interest.
