Positions
Four candidates are selected each year for the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on a competitive basis.
The program begins on approximately July 1 of each year.
How to Apply
Your application and all supporting documentation must be received by Jan. 10 of the year you wish to begin the program.
Step 1: Mail an official transcript from your college of pharmacy and a curriculum vitae to:

Step 2: Complete the online Application for Admission.
After you create an account and/or log-in, please select Application for Admission.
Note the following instructions:
A. Under Education Information:
- Do not include information about your high school or pre-pharmacy training.
- Include information about your pharmacy school.
B. Do not complete the section titled Standardized Testing.
C. Under Recommendations, three recommendations are required and two must be from a professional contact, e.g. professor, preceptor, supervisor. Enter the information needed to provide three letters of recommendation. For those who wish to submit their letter of reference on paper, please download and print a copy of the reference form and follow the directions for paper references.
Step 3: All candidates must register with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Resident Matching Program . The ASHP Resident Matching Program makes all appointments. Match results are released in late March.
Step 4: Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. An interview can be arranged only when your application file is complete. |
