Clinical rotations include:
- Inpatient cardiology, both general medical and
interventional
- Outpatient cardiology
Intensive clinical practicums, under the supervision of qualified
nurse practitioners and physician preceptors, focus on providing
care to cardiology patients.
The staff at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale includes 15 full-time cardiologists
who will augment your learning by demonstrating evidence-based practices
in caring for the cardiology patient.
Our Nurse Practitioner Internship prepares you to work both independently
and collaboratively as a member of a health-care team.

Our system of evaluation provides students and faculty with a comprehensive
look at individual performance, allowing students who are experiencing
academic difficulty to be directed to appropriate support resources,
including tutoring programs and counseling opportunities.
