Teaching Faculty
he Master of Nurse Anesthesia Program draws its faculty from Mayo Clinic’s clinical, scientific and technical staffs. Faculty are chosen for their commitment to teaching as well as clinical practice and/or research. Many have published and lectured extensively and are highly regarded in their field.
Instructors from Winona State University and University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse teach chemistry, physiology, anatomy, and the nursing curriculum and management core courses.
Students have access to clinical and didactic faculty throughout their training – with the opportunity to learn directly from some of today’s best anesthesiologist and nurse anesthesia practitioners.
The faculty direct and guide didactic and clinical learning in an integrated system of practice and education. All anesthetics are administered under the direction of Mayo Clinic staff anesthesiologists and/or CRNAs.
