Program Description
Students enrolled in a clinical laboratory technician program at affiliated education institutions complete an eight-month clinical laboratory rotation in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic during the final year of their education.

Facilities
A highly skilled team of pathologists, clinical laboratory scientists and clinical laboratory technicians performs lab work. We receive patient specimens for testing from clinics and hospitals.

The large repertoire of test services, the large volume of specimens we receive for testing and our diverse and highly educated faculty make us an ideal educational setting for students in clinical laboratory science training programs.

Hours
For the majority of the internship, your learning schedule will include eight-hour days, five days per week.
