Program Costs
Tuition for the Histology Technician Program is $7,850. Approximately $3,500 is applied towards the curricular component of the program, with an additional clinical fee of $4,350. The clinical fee may be waived upon a signed agreement for continued employment at Mayo Clinic Rochester, in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology.
Outside Work
Histology Technician program students may be employed at a maximum 0.5 FTE so long as:
- It does not interfere with the training program
- Their academic and clinical performance is satisfactory
Financial Aid
Mayo School of Health Sciences offers financial incentives for students to participate in its many health sciences training programs. For example, tuition waivers or employment scholarships are often offered to students who commit to work for Mayo Clinic after graduation. For other programs, scholarships may be available for those who demonstrate financial need.
