Program Costs
Tuition for the Mayo School of Health Sciences Dietetic Internship in Rochester is $7,500.
A $40 nonrefundable application fee is required to apply to the program. Other expenses include lab jackets ($25) and graduation pin ($40). These costs are subject to change by Mayo School of Health Sciences and its affiliates.
The intern is responsible for his/her own health insurance.
Estimated Living Expenses
Housing, transportation, and meals are the student’s responsibility. The estimated cost of living in Rochester changes every year but the current estimated costs are as follows:

Transportation
Interns must have access to an automobile. Several community learning experiences require own transportation. Interns are responsible for the cost of transportation.
Outside Work
Although outside employment is discouraged, students may be employed on a supplemental basis as long as:
- It does not interfere with the training program
- Their academic and clinical performance is satisfactory
