- Your hours may vary depending on the rotation.
- Interns will be required to work some weekends to participate in community outreach projects and some clinical experiences.
Outside Work:
Although outside employment is discouraged, students may be employed on a supplemental basis provided:
- it does not interfere with the program
- their academic and clinical performance is satisfactory
Graduation & Certification:
Upon successful completion of the internship requirements, graduates will receive a Certificate of Completion from Mayo School of Health Science and will be eligible to take the registration examination given by the American Dietetic Association.
Faculty:
Interns benefit from highly qualified, competent professionals in the food service, community, and nutrition experiences. Our program offers a one-to-one ratio of intern to preceptor throughout the internship.
