Positions
Six candidates are accepted each year for the Dietetics Internship Program at Mayo Clinic Florida on a competitive basis. The eight-month Dietetics Internship begins in January and July.
How to Apply
Step 1: Complete and submit the:
The application requires the following supporting documentation:
- Official transcripts of all college and/or university credits
- A signed Declaration of Intent to Complete Degree and Academic Requirements (Verification Statement for graduates)
- Three letters of recommendation from professional or academic references
- One-page typed (10 point font or larger) biography, including professional interests and career goals
- A nonrefundable $25 application fee (make checks payable to Mayo Clinic)

- The selection committee carefully reviews each application. Individuals considered for an appointment complete a telephone interview.
Step 2: Appointments to the Dietetics Internship Program are made through the American Dietetic Association (ADA) computerized Internship Match. All candidates must register to participate in a match.
ADA contracts with D & D Digital Systems to facilitate two matches each year. D & D Digital Systems must receive your registration by the deadlines to compete in a match.
November Match
- Deadline: Registration materials are due in September. Please see the D & D Digital Systems Web site for exact date (link below).
- The November match is for internships beginning in January.
- Three interns are accepted.
April Match
- Deadline: Registration materials are due in February. Please see the D & D Digital Systems Web site for exact date (link below).
- The April match is for internships beginning in July.
- Three interns are accepted.
