Positions
Up to six students are accepted on a competitive basis each year to the Cytotechnology Program. Classes begin in July.

How to Apply
Your application and all supporting documentation must be received by Mayo School of Health Sciences by March 1 of the year you wish to begin classes. Complete the following steps:

Step 1: To apply to the program, please submit the following materials:

  • An official transcript of all college and/or university credits. Transcripts must be received in the original sealed envelope from the school.
  • Three letters of recommendation.
    - Letters may also be submitted as part of the online application.
    - Letters completed off-line must be received in a signed sealed envelope.
  • A non-refundable $25 application fee.

Step 2: Complete the Mayo School of Health Sciences' online application form .

Step 3: Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic in Rochester for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty.

Step 4: Appointment letters are mailed in late March. Your reply is requested within two weeks.
