Positions
Six individuals are accepted on a competitive basis each year to the Clinical Pastoral Education Residency Program. Classes begin in August 21, 2008 and continue through August 19, 2009.
How to Apply
There is no annual fixed application deadline.Receive and read all information from Mayo Clinic CPE Program.
Step 1: Submit your completed Application for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) including:
- Your 8-10 page autobiographical statement
- Your student and supervisor evaluations
and mail in one envelope to:

Step 2:Selection Process:
- Submitted application materials are reviewed to qualify you for a phone interview.
- Phone interviews are discussed to qualify you for an on site, in person interview.
- You would travel at own expense to an onsite interview.
Step 3: Appointment Process:
- You will be notified in writing of acceptance or denial within seven days of interview.
- If accepted, you must respond in writing within two weeks to Mayo Clinic’s acceptance offer.
Step 4: Fill out a Mayo Clinic application for employment. Health Benefit information will arrive by mail.
